About Our Name: CAN Cambodia

CAN Cambodia  (ខេន ខេមបូឌា) គឺជាវេទិកាអប់រំប្រកបដោយភាពច្នៃប្រឌិត និងចាក់ឫសយ៉ាងជ្រៅ ក្នុងការ​ប្តេជ្ញាចិត្ត​ផ្ដល់​​ការអប់រំ បំផុសគំនិត និងផ្តល់សិទ្ធិ​អំណាចដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ​ខ្មែរ​ នូវ​ចំណេះដឹងពលរដ្ឋវិទ្យា​យ៉ាង​ទូលំទូលាយ និង​អាចទទួលបានជំនាញភាសាអង់គ្លេស​ខាងសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស និងច្បាប់​សំខាន់ៗ​ថែមទៀតផង។

"CAN Cambodia" ដែលជាឈ្មោះរបស់យើង មានអត្ថន័យ​យ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅ ច្រើនបែបផែន ​ដូចពន្យល់​ខាងក្រោម៖

• ជា​ភាសាអង់គ្លេស "CAN" តំណាងឱ្យសមត្ថភាព និងការពង្រឹងសិទ្ធិ​អំណាច។ វាឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំង​លើជំនឿ​របស់​យើងដែលថា ប្រជា​ពលរដ្ឋ​ខ្មែរ​គ្រប់រូបមានសមត្ថភាព​ក្នុងការយល់ដឹង​អំពីសិទ្ធិ ការ​ចូលរួម​យ៉ាង​សកម្ម​នៅ​ក្នុងសង្គម និងការរួមចំណែកជួយ​ធ្វើឱ្យប្រទេសជាតិកាន់តែរឹងមាំ។ CAN ភ្ជាប់បេសកកម្ម​របស់​យើង​យ៉ាង​ច្បាស់ទៅនឹងប្រជា​ពលរដ្ឋ និងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

• ន័យស្នូល, "CAN" គឺជាអក្សរកាត់ដែលតំណាងសសរស្តម្ភ​នៃការអប់រំយ៉ាងសំខាន់​របស់​យើង​៖

• • C តាង Constitution៖ ផ្តោតលើរដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញ​នៃ​ប្រទេស​កម្ពុជា ដែលជាច្បាប់កំពូលនៃដែនដី ដើម្បីធានា​ឱ្យ​ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋយល់​អំពីសិទ្ធិជាមូលដ្ឋាន និងក្របខណ្ឌនៃរដ្ឋាភិបាល​របស់​ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ​។

• • A តាង Agreement (ឬ Accord)៖ សំដៅជាពិសេសទៅលើកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាពទីក្រុងប៉ារីស (PPA) ដែលជាកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងយ៉ាងសំខាន់ក្នុងដំណើររបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាឆ្ពោះទៅរក សន្តិភាព និងលទ្ធិប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ។

  • N តាង Nation៖ សង្កត់ធ្ងន់លើសុខុមាលភាពរួម និងអនាគតរបស់​ប្រទេស​កម្ពុជា។

• ក្រៅពី​អត្ថន័យ​នៃ​អក្សរកាត់ជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស, "CAN" មានអត្ថន័យយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅក្នុងភាសា​ខ្មែរ។

• • អក្សរដំបូងនៃ Constitution (រដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញ  រ) និង Agreement (កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង​ ក) ផ្គុំអក្សរ​កាត់ទាំងពីរ​បាន​ជាពាក្យ "រក" ជាពាក្យខ្មែរដ៏មានឥទ្ធិពលមានន័យថា “to seek for”។

• • នៅពេលផ្គុំ​ជាមួយអក្សរកាត់ តាង​ Nation (ជាតិ - ជ) វាបង្កើតជាពាក្យខ្មែរពេញលេងញថា (To Seek for the Nation ដែលបកប្រែថា "រកដើម្បីជាតិ"។

ឈ្មោះពហុស្រទាប់នេះបង្កប់នូវបេសកកម្មពីររបស់យើងយ៉ាងល្អឥតខ្ចោះគឺ៖ ដើម្បីជួយប្រជា​ពលរដ្ឋ​ខ្មែរ​ស្វែង​រក​ចំណេះ​​ដឹង​អំពីសិទ្ធិមនុស្សជាសកល អំពីរដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញ និងអំពីច្បាប់ពាក់ព័ន្ធ - ដែលទន្ទឹមគ្នានេះ ពង្រឹង​ជំនាញ​ភាសា​អង់គ្លេស​របស់​​អ្នកចូលរួម​​ជាមួយ​ វេទិការ​​អប់រំពលរដ្ឋវិជ្ជានេះ​​ថែមទៀត​ផង​ - ជាលទ្ធផលគឺធ្វើឱ្យប្រសើរឡើង និង​ចូលរួម​យ៉ាង​សកម្ម​​​​ធ្វើឱ្យមាន​ប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ សាមគ្គីភាព និងសន្តិភាពនៅព្រះរាជាណាចក្រ​កម្ពុជា។

តាមរយៈ "CAN Cambodia" យើងផ្តល់ជូន​នូវខ្លឹមសារអប់រំ ដែលគ្រប់​គ្នា​​អាច​ចូលរួម​រៀនសូត្រ​បាន ដោយចាប់ផ្តើមពី​សេចក្តីប្រកាសជាសកលស្តីពីសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស ដែលមាន៣០មាត្រា​ និង​ពង្រីកទៅ​ដល់មេរៀន​​​ច្បាប់សំខាន់ៗរបស់​ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ យើងជឿជាក់ថា តាមរយៈការយល់ដឹងអំពីសិទ្ធិ និងច្បាប់ ​ព្រមទាំង​​ការទទួល​​បាននូវ​ជំនាញភាសាសាកល ប្រជា​ពលរដ្ឋ​ខ្មែរ ជាពិសេស​ យុវជន ​ពិតជាអាចក្លាយជាពលរដ្ឋសកម្ម អ្នកដឹកនាំសហគមន៍ ​ដែល​មានចំណេះដឹង ក្នុង​ការកសាងអនាគតដ៏ត្រចះត្រចង់សម្រាប់ជាតិខ្មែរ​។

CAN Cambodia is an innovative and deeply rooted educational platform committed to educating, inspiring, and empowering Cambodians through comprehensive civic knowledge and essential English language skills.

Our name, "CAN Cambodia," holds powerful meaning on multiple levels:

• In English, "CAN" signifies ability and empowerment. It reflects our belief that every Cambodian possesses the inherent capacity to understand their rights, engage actively in their society, and contribute to a stronger nation. It clearly links our mission to the people and country of Cambodia.

• At its core, "CAN" is an acronym representing our foundational educational pillars:

• • C for Constitution: Focusing on the Cambodian Constitution, the supreme law of the land, to ensure citizens understand their fundamental rights and the framework of their government.

• • A for Agreement (Accord): Specifically referencing the Paris Peace Agreement (PPA), a pivotal accord in Cambodia's journey towards peace and democracy.

  • N for Nation: Emphasizing the collective well-being and future of Cambodia.

• Beyond the English acronym, "CAN" holds profound significance in Khmer.

• • The initial letters of Constitution (រដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញ - រ) and Agreement (កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង - ក) combine to form "រក" (Rok), a powerful Khmer word meaning "to seek".

• • When joined with the acronym for Nation (ជាតិ - ជ), it forms the full Khmer phrase "រកដើម្បីជាតិ" (Rok Damoruy Cheat), which translates to "seek for the nation". 

This multilayered name perfectly encapsulates our dual mission: to help Cambodians seek knowledge of their universal human rights, their Constitution, and relevant laws – all while enhancing their English proficiency – ultimately for the betterment and active participation in a democratic, unified, and peaceful Cambodia.

Through "CAN Cambodia," we provide structured, accessible learning content, starting with the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and expanding to crucial Cambodian legal frameworks. We believe that by understanding their rights and laws, and gaining global language skills, Cambodians can truly become active, informed citizens building a brighter future for their nation.
